Set-up a couple of free email accounts somewhere like Google or Yahoo, or add free sub-email accounts with your Internet provider, and then just spam yourself.

I hate the trend for companies to use facebook for competitions. I don't and never will have a facebook account so I'm excluding myself from an increasing number of competitions.

Facebook doesn't work on my computer, so I'm excluded by that. 
Facebook is also attrociously programmed ... it's incredibly slow and has vastly over-complicated pages. The only reason Facebook (and other badly programmed website) has become popular is because broadband users don't really notice all the rubbish it loads in.
